LACING

YOUTH BOA® FIT SYSTEM

  • Simple and secure shell lacing that tightens with a twist of the Youth BOA Dial.

TX3 BOA® LACING

  • A softer lace explicitly made for snowboard boots that provides a more even fit over the body of the boot shell versus a steel lace.

LINER

COMFORT FOAM EVA LINER

  • Soft and warm foam focused on a forgiving flex and excellent out-of-the-box fit.

INTERNAL J-BARS

  • Adding J-Bars to a liner helps add structure and reduce heel lift.

CUSHIONING

DIE CUT EVA FOOTBED + GROWS-A-LONG SHIMS

  • A set of three EVA shims can be added or removed from the boot for multi-season use as your grom grows.

BRIGHT FUTURES™ OUTSOLE

  • Lighting up the stoke and fun for groms everywhere, this LED light-powered outsole is built to be lightweight and has tons of grip for lasting the whole day.

FLEX AND RESPONSE

  • 3 out of 10 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

FLEX ZONE UPPER CUFF

  • The flex zone upper is designed to help retain a consistent flex pattern while reducing shell distortion when flexing.
Articulating Cuff

Riding Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Warranty: 1-YEAR WARRANTY

Pros of BOA® Lacing

  • It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments
  • Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après
  • All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens
  • A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA® Lacing

  • The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive
  • It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue
  • A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones
  • The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things
  • Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated
  • BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

Lacing

Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has emerged as an industry standard, providing a quick and easy twist-to-tighten feature. It includes a knob (called the Coilerâ„¢) positioned on the front or side of the boot, which adjusts the tightness using cables or ropes routed inside the boot shell. To tighten the laces, just twist the knob, and to loosen them, simply pull the coiler out.

Boot Liner

Heat Moldable

Heat Moldable
Boot liners can be heat molded by a professional to quickly create a perfect fit around your foot. Additionally, most liners will "pack out" and adapt to the wearer's foot with use, so simply wearing them for longer periods can also improve the fit.
