To tighten the laces, just twist the knob, and to loosen them, simply pull the coiler out.

Boot liners can be heat molded by a professional to quickly create a perfect fit around your foot. Additionally, most liners will "pack out" and adapt to the wearer's foot with use, so simply wearing them for longer periods can also improve the fit.
