Happy Memorial Day!
We’d like to take a moment to remember and thank the brave men and women who, throughout our history, have made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our country. Memorial Day is a remembrance and celebration of those in service of our country, as well as a celebration of what some have given their lives for, our freedom.
A lot of Americans tend to celebrate this day with a BBQ, which feels so American (though origin of BBQ is way more nuanced than we think). Most pools are opening today and are having awesome kick-off events. Whether you’re just enjoying a day off, working, or getting together with family and friends, here are a few recipes, fun facts, playlists, and ideas to help you celebrate the day.
