Pretty Faces: An All Women’s Ski Film

 Pretty Faces is an all-women’s ski documentary told from a female’s perspective to connect with, inspire, and honor the female population in snow sports. It is a story that celebrates women who are passionate about skiing and the outdoors, and take all measures to accomplish their dreams.
Professional freestyle and big mountain skier Lynsey Dyer is the brainchild behind the film. Dyer also is the co-founder of the non-profit organization, SheJumps, which promotes female participation in outdoor activities.
 Dyer’s objective in the film is to give women and girls inspiration and a right to be heard “through a unique look at what is possible when boundaries are broken, dreams captured and friendships cultivated.” This film is the first crowd-sourced, crowd-funded, all women’s ski film.
“I wanted to give young girls something positive to look up to,” says Dyer. “I wanted to give them their Blizzard of Aahhs, Ski Movie or High Life, but done in a way that also shows the elegance, grace, community and style that is unique to women in the mountains.”
